Happy 4th!!!

Well this week is Houston Project and so Wade and I stayed in town over the 4th to prepare! Thursday night we ate dinner with my parents and then started our shopping for our Houston Project Carnival which lasted until Friday night. We also ran across a great deal on patio furniture while shopping, so of course we are crazy and bought it. We spent until almost 9:00 assembling our new furniture on the 4th and barely made it to the fireworks. We ended up walking down the street and watching the Sienna fireworks in our culdesac with the neighbors. It was great! It is nice to get to know them all better!

Saturday morning we went straight to Farrington Baptist which is our Houston Project site and passed out flyers in the neighborhood. West and I were a little uncomfortable with the pit bulls, but the Lord protected us all and we made it out safe. We were inviting people to our carnival and Vacation Bible School that will run all this week.

Saturday afternoon we had friends over to the house. It was a small group of close friends and I really enjoyed my time talking to everyone and catching up. We are so blessed with so many incredible friends!!!...we just need ALL of them to move to Missouri City!
