Sunday night we had Harper's Parent Commitment Service at church. It was a very special night. It was a service where Wade and I promised to raise Harper in a Godly home leading her to make the decision to follow Christ on her own. We pray this happens at a very early age:)
We were blessed to have family and friends there to support us! As I walked in the Chapel, I was just overcome with emotion. I am so busy most of the time, that I don't take many moments to just step back and look at my sweet little girl for the sweet miracle that she is. We are also just so fortunate to have so many special people that constantly love on our little family.
Here is the verse we chose to have read over Harper:
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[d] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
Colossians 1:9-12
